Background
Cierra was born and raised in Douglas, Georgia and attended Coffee High School before graduating early from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She began her career as a Government Affairs Intern in Atlanta before enrolling at Mercer University School of Law in 2020.
At Mercer, Cierra distinguished herself in both academics and advocacy. She served as Public Relations and Alumni Chair of the Mercer Advocacy Council, ABA Chair of the Student Bar Association, and was a student member of the William A. Bootle Inn of Court. She received the Outstanding Solicitor Award from the Mercer Advocacy Council — and then took her negotiation skills to the national stage.
In 2022, Cierra won first place at the ABA National Negotiation Competition. That was not a single-event result — she also took first at the ABA Regional and the William and Mary Negotiation Competition that same year, and followed it with a top-five finish at the 2023 ABA National Negotiation Competition.
She was admitted to the Georgia Bar in October 2023. Cierra is passionate about helping clients navigate challenging situations and getting the best possible result — while making sure everyone still leaves with a smile.
